Dry Suit Diver

If you want to dive comfortably in cold waters, you have to protect yourself thermally. A dry suit is used for this purpose. When diving in a dry suit, you have the option of wearing thermal underwear and an additional undersuit. A dry suit is not only a thermal insulator, it is also, and maybe above all, a buoyancy compensator. While diving in such a suit, you adjust your buoyancy with it. It is not difficult, but it requires practice and training. This is one of the reasons why you should acquire the ability to dive in a drysuit under the supervision of an instructor. During the course, you will learn how to operate a dry suit, keep trim and buoyancy, balance well. You will do exercises like on the OWD course (balancing on fins, hoover, etc.) using a dry suit. If you feel that you have problems with buoyancy still in wet suit, you can do the first exercise at the swimming pool.

The course includes:
– theoretical classes
– pool activities (optional)
– 2 open water dives
